Associate Attorney, Financial Services Group

Description:

An excellent boutique law firm is looking for 2nd through 6th year associates, preferably with financial services litigation experience, to join our Financial Services team. Experience with drafting and arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, propounding and responding to written discovery, and conducting mediations in both state and federal courts. Familiarity with (R)FDCPA, FCRA, TCPA, UCC, EFTA, TILA, and UDAP helpful.

Requirements:

• J.D. with excellent academic credentials.
• Current admission and good standing in the California Bar.
• Candidates must have a strong work ethic, and excellent organizational, research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
• Candidates must be able to prioritize and handle urgent tasks and requests simultaneously with a high level of competence and accuracy. 
• Familiarity with (R)FDCPA, FCRA, TCPA, UCC, EFTA, TILA, and UDAP is preferred.
