
Trailer Park Group is currently seeking a Corporate Counsel with extensive global legal experience in entertainment marketing, advertising, and agency operations. This role will be responsible for contract negotiations, regulatory compliance, intellectual property rights, risk management, and corporate governance across multiple jurisdictions. The ideal candidate will have experience working with major entertainment studios, streaming platforms, and creative agencies on multi-national campaigns.
As a key legal advisor, you will provide strategic guidance on agency-client agreements, production deals, employment law, and evolving industry regulations. You will work closely with business affairs, IT, finance, HR, and executive leadership to protect the company’s legal and financial interests while enabling business growth.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Contract Negotiation & Risk Management
- Advise on legal risks and compliance related to advertising regulations, intellectual property, corporate enterprise agreements and evolving entertainment, gaming and brand advertising / marketing laws.
Corporate & Global Compliance
- Co-Lead the Security Team with IT leadership. Expertise in Content Security, TPN and client workflows.
- Co-Lead Security Program (including audits) and Trainings with IT leadership.
- Lead internal investigation into any alleged breach or non-compliance with company policy including: content security, ethics and SP&Ps.
- Develop and implement legal strategies for cross-border transactions and international business operations.
- Manage the corporate governance, entity structuring, M&A activities (diligence), and global risk mitigation strategies.
- Monitor regulatory changes in key markets and ensure company-wide compliance with labor, and corporate governance / reporting.
- Manage global leasehold portfolio.
Intellectual Property
- Manage the corporate IP Portfolio trademark and patents.
- Manage outside vendors including outside counsel and lease and insurance brokers
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership
- Work closely with finance, HR, business affairs, and executive teams to align legal strategy with business objectives.
- Advise on employment law, HR policies, and international workforce compliance for a multi-region team.
- Lead legal training programs to educate internal teams on contract best practices, risk mitigation, and compliance requirements.
ABOUT YOU:
- 10+ years of legal experience, preferably in an entertainment marketing agency, gaming company, or law firm specializing in entertainment and advertising.
- Strong background in intellectual property, advertising law, contract negotiation, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience handling global partnerships, multi-organization deal structures, and international legal challenges.
- Expertise incompliance, privacy and intellectual property. .
- Licensed attorney in [jurisdiction], with the ability to oversee legal matters across multiple countries.
- Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills.
