About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Compliance Specialist to join our team. This individual will play a key role in managing regulatory filings, supporting legal processes, and ensuring the company remains in full compliance with applicable laws and industry standards. While a law license is not required, familiarity with legal documents and agency procedures is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare, submit, and track regulatory filings with local and state agencies
• Draft legal documents, letters, and addendums for attorney review
• Coordinate with external counsel on complex legal matters
• Monitor compliance deadlines and maintain internal documentation
• Stay current on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
• Assist with internal audits and compliance reviews
• Support licensing and permitting efforts across departments
• Maintain organized records of all filings and legal correspondence
• Research legal and regulatory requirements as needed
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and leadership

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in a compliance, regulatory, or legal support role
• Strong understanding of government filings, permitting, or legal processes
• Excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and adapt to shifting priorities
• Bachelor’s degree required; legal or compliance-related field 
• Paralegal certification or regulatory affairs training is a bonus
