Paralegal
Thriving South Bay boutique personal injury firm seeks a Paralegal to join their team. The Paralegal will perform a variety of tasks including assisting with case planning, development, and management; legal research, client interviews; gathering facts and retrieving information; drafting and analyzing legal documents; and utilizing technical information to make recommendations to an attorney.

The Paralegal will perform a variety of tasks including assisting with case planning, development, and management; legal research, client interviews; gathering facts and retrieving information; drafting and analyzing legal documents; and utilizing technical information to make recommendations to an attorney.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with drafting and reviewing legal documents
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases
- Maintain and organize legal files and documents
- Prepare correspondence and memos
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
- Preparing and responding to notices, objections, responses, and demands
- Calendaring court deadlines, scheduling meetings, depositions, mediations, and court dates. Follow up with attorneys
- Drafting correspondence and routine pleadings
- Assisting in other miscellaneous aspects of personal injury litigation
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience and/or completion of an approved paralegal program/Paralegal Certificate
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience as a litigation paralegal, including plaintiff experience in personal injury litigation
- Experienced and well versed in the litigation process
- Excellent technical skills (Microsoft Office and Outlook)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Bilingual English/Spanish desired
PAY
$32 + per hour, depending on experience
