Kirton McConkie, a large Salt Lake City law firm, is seeking an associate attorney to work in its corporate practice group. Qualified candidates will have one or more years of experience in one or more of the following: corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, securities and corporate finance, and business law and general corporate matters. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing stock and asset purchase agreements, private placement memoranda and SEC registrations.
Candidates must have excellent academic credentials, demonstrate a commitment to ethics, be highly motivated and hard-working, and be able to work with minimal supervision. Candidates must also have experience working in the corporate/business/securities group of a large law firm and be a member of the Utah Bar or be willing to take the Utah Bar. If not currently a member of the Utah Bar, applicants must be a member of the Bar of another U.S. state.
