Legal Assistant (Contracts Administrator)
 
JOB SUMMARY:
Unleashed Services, LLC seeks a Legal Assistant (Contracts Administrator) to grow with our company, Unleashed Brands, the parent company of Urban Air Adventure Parks, The Little Gym, Snapology, Premier Martial Arts, Class 101, XP League, Water Wings & Sylvan Learning. We are growing by leaps and bounds and we need the right person who can support our Legal Team of three attorneys and one Executive Assistant.
 
This is an on-site position based at our Home Office in Bedford, TX  
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage franchisee contract execution utilizing DocuSign
  • Maintain calendars including noting important deadlines for members of the legal department
  • Collect, update, and maintain franchisee records and other data
  • Draft and send various types of communication electronically and through mail to third parties, franchisees, state examiners, and vendors
  • Audit legal files to determine missing documents, and obtaining missing documents
  • Proactively identify and suggest ideas for continuous improvement to the franchise administration process
  • Ensure accurate and timely filing of all franchise documents (manage contracts, supporting documentation and relevant correspondence in the designated repository)
  • Communicate effectively with Legal Team members and with key business clients, including Franchise Development and Onboarding Teams
  • Provide overall administrative support as needed to the Unleashed Brands Legal Department
  • Complete special projects as requested
 
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 1-2 years of experience as a Legal Assistant, Contracts Coordinator, or Paralegal in a fast-paced corporate and/or law firm setting
  • Detail-oriented, very organized, and possesses the ability to prioritize
  • Experience with contracts or transactional documents
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software, especially Microsoft Word and Outlook
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and time management skills
  • Strong ability to follow processes and procedures
  • Ability to work independently as well in a team setting
  • Excellent word processing (proofreading, formatting, editing, etc.)
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and in writing
  • Experience with electronic signature programs, electronic filing systems, and other data programs
  • Although not required, experience in franchising is a plus
  • Ability to work in-office at least four (4) days a week
