Aspen Careers is working with a law firm in downtown Pittsburgh on the following full-time, direct hire position.

Legal Administrative Assistant - Corporate / Litigation.

Position Title: Legal Administrative Assistant – Pittsburgh

The Role You Will Play:

  • Answering phones for the office (not busy)
  • Support client relationship development by assisting attorneys in preparing for client meetings and maintaining familiarity with case details.
  • Manage attorney's schedules, arrange meetings, and ensure well-stocked conference rooms, while also escorting clients and visitors to meetings.
  • Handle mail distribution and perform administrative tasks like document creation, transcription, document copying, faxing, and scanning.
  • Prepare documents for mailing or delivery through various services and is proficient in electronic filing procedures.
  • Manage client files, maintain record management systems, and handle billing-related tasks such as time entry and expense reporting.
  • Assist in ordering office supplies, collaborate with other legal administrative assistants, and take on additional duties as assigned, contributing to a team effort for client support.
  • There's also an opportunity to handle some paralegal/client billable duties if interested.

Background Profile:

  • Two + years of legal secretarial experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills; ability to communicate clearly and accurately; professional appearance and demeanor.
