Job Description

Our Client represents businesses in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and throughout North Texas in a broad spectrum of commercial disputes. They concentrate much of our practice on construction, real estate and nonsubscriber liability claims. In addition, they represent clients in commercial collections, insurance defense, commercial trucking, oil and gas litigation and employment litigation.

The lawyers have extensive experience and can quickly assess the issues presented in a given case. The attorneys are skilled negotiators and trial-tested litigators and have achieved exceptional outcomes for our clients.

Overview

Paralegal

Seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting attorneys by managing legal case

files, conducting research, and ensuring that all documentation is accurate and compliant

with relevant laws. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail,

and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in the preparation of legal documents, including contracts,

pleadings, and discovery materials.

• Manage legal case files and maintain organized records for easy access and

retrieval.

• Conduct thorough legal research on various topics, including commercial litigation,

legal malpractice, corporate, employment and contract law.

• Transcribe legal documents and correspondence as needed.

• Support project management efforts by tracking deadlines and ensuring timely

completion of tasks.

• Collaborate with attorneys to develop case strategies and provide necessary

support during trials or hearings.

• Maintain confidentiality of all client information and adhere to ethical standards.

 

Qualifications

• Paralegal certificate required.

• Minimum 5-7 years proven experience in legal case management within a law office setting is preferred.

• Familiarity with commercial litigation, legal malpractice, corporate, employment,

and contract law is advantageous.

• Strong research skills with the ability to analyze information effectively.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for transcribing documents and

interviewing clients.

• Proficient in project management techniques to ensure efficient workflow.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

• High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
