ASSISTANT DISTRICT ATTORNEY

Starting Compensation: $219,079
*(This is an estimated compensation package and does not include retirement contribution which varies. Actual compensation is based on appointed salary)

Minimum Qualifications

 A minimum of five (5) years in a public agency in criminal law as an attorney. Or six (6) years in the full-time practice of law, including four (4) years specializing in criminal law; and two (2) years performing supervisory responsibilities. 

  • Active membership in the State Bar of California. Possession of, or ability to obtain an appropriate, valid California driver's license

Conditions of Employment
Candidates selected will also be required to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening. Additionally, a background investigation may also be conducted. Some job classes may also require a physical exam.
