Litigation Examiner

We are currently in search of an enthusiastic, professional Litigation Examiner who will be responsible for the following:

• Overseeing a full pending of litigated/complex files, acting as corporate rep when warranted and keeping detailed diary notes.
• Driving the files with counsel to seek out opportunities for early resolutions which will minimize all parties costs.
• Work with previous examiner to discuss handling and/or concerns with the adjustment or coverage
• Completing a detailed evaluation of any large demands/estimates presented to assist counsel in strategy and reserve recommendations.
• Actively participating in mediation/negotiations, and/or depositions.
• Reports to client with claim status, reserving and recommendations for settlement and/or Litigation strategy.
• Develop and identify billing opportunities for this role based on a more hands-on approach.
• Develop a system to identify and track cost savings to Client (on early resolutions, demand negotiations, use of strategies)
• Develop and maintain working relationships with our panel of frequently utilized attorneys and/or experts.
