Summary: 

We are seeking an experienced paralegal to prepare and draft contracts using company-approved templates. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of contract drafting or management experience, with a strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Knowledge of the healthcare insurance or self-insurance industry is preferred. Responsibilities include reviewing contract requirements, customizing templates to meet specific client needs, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and maintaining organized contract files. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Draft, prepare, and customize contracts using established company templates
  • Review contract requirements to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with internal standards
  • Modify contract language to meet specific client and business needs while maintaining compliance
  • Coordinate with internal departments, including legal, compliance, and operations, to gather required information and approvals
  • Communicate with external stakeholders regarding contract details, revisions, and timelines
  • Track contract progress and manage version control throughout the drafting process
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date contract files and documentation
  • Identify discrepancies or issues in contract language and escalate concerns as appropriate
  • Ensure contracts comply with applicable regulations, policies, and company guidelines
  • Support ongoing improvements to contract templates and drafting processes

 

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience in contract drafting, contract management, or paralegal support
  • Demonstrated experience working with standardized contract templates
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the healthcare insurance or self-insurance industry
  • Familiarity with regulatory or compliance-driven contract environments
  • Experience collaborating with legal, compliance, or risk management teams
