Nevada General Counsel (Per Diem / As-Needed)

Job Summary:
The Villarreal Organization, Inc. is seeking an experienced and reliable General Counsel to serve on a per diem / as-needed basis. This role involves providing strategic legal guidance across a variety of business areas including employment law, contracts, commercial litigation, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft and review contracts, agreements, and legal correspondence
   
• Advise on employment law, HR matters, and internal policies
   
• Provide support for litigation, disputes, and small claims actions
   
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations
   
• Represent or advise on company legal matters as needed
   
• Prepare demand letters and review claims related to vendor or partner disputes
  
   

Compensation:
Hourly rate or flat per diem — please include your rate expectations when applying.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) and licensed to practice law in Nevada (additional states a plus)  
• 1+ years of relevant experience in business law, employment law, and litigation  
• Strong writing, negotiation, and communication skills  
• Ability to work independently, remotely, and respond quickly to requests  
• Prior in-house or contract counsel experience preferred
