Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented, client-focused Criminal/Traffic Paralegal to join our legal team. This role involves managing a dynamic caseload of criminal and traffic matters, providing direct support to attorneys, maintaining client communication, and ensuring all legal documents and deadlines are handled with precision.

 

Reports to: Operations Team


Key Responsibilities

Client Service & Communication

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, courts, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients regarding case updates and status.
  • Schedule appointments, manage calendars, and handle general administrative duties.
  • Respond promptly to calls, emails, and text messages.
  • Notify clients upon case resolution and send disposition letters.

File & Case Management

  • Organize, maintain, and manage case files in a legal case management system.
  • Draft legal documents, including Letters of Representation, Motions, and Discovery.
  • File legal documents with courts and relevant agencies.
  • Monitor county dockets and ensure accurate scheduling.
  • Document all case activity clearly and thoroughly.
Requirements

  

Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a Paralegal, Legal Assistant, or in a comparable legal support role.
  • Strong knowledge of criminal and traffic legal processes and terminology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Proficiency in legal case management and document management software.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
