Associate Litigation Attorney

Exempt | Onsite | The Molino Firm, PLC

Salary Pay Range: $120,000 - $168,000 Per Year. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire and will be dependent on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, skill set, experience, education, credentials, and licensure when applicable.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reviews and assists in negotiating and drafting contracts other corporate transactions.
• Effectively acquire, assemble and manage legal documents and files responsive to time-sensitive inquiries/pleadings
• Draft complex legal documentation including, but not limited to summaries of significant regulatory developments, legislative history, and case law research.

Knowledge, Skills and Licenses:

• Knowledge of state laws and regulations relevant to the operation of an insurance company.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Work in a team-oriented environment and meet tight deadlines and prioritize projects with limited supervision.

Education and Experience:

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Membership in California Bar.
• Minimum 1-year civil law firm and/or corporate counsel experience.

Machines, Office Equipment and Software:

• Westlaw, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook
