MG+M The Law Firm (MG+M) has an immediate opening for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator in any of our following office locations: Chicago, IL, St. Louis/Madison County, IL, New Orleans, LA or Wilmington, DE.

Position Overview: The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will support our national recruitment efforts by managing the hiring process and ensuring a seamless candidate experience. This role involves coordinating interviews, maintaining applicant tracking systems, and assisting hiring managers with sourcing and onboarding new hires. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Interview Coordination: Schedule and manage interviews between candidates, hiring managers and dedicated leadership. Ensure a smooth interview process by coordinating logistics such as virtual interview links, meeting rooms and travel arrangements.
  • Recruitment Event Support: Assist with law school OCIs (on-campus interviews) to hire Summer Associate/Law Clerks across multiple offices and provide support for Baylor Law School’s interview programs/recruitment events (i.e., Top Gun Trial Competition).
  • Candidate Experience: Act as a point of contact for candidates throughout the hiring process, ensuring timely communication and a positive experience. Represent MG+M’s values and culture to candidates, networking contacts, and recruitment event attendees to enhance employer branding and attract top talent.
  • Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Management: Maintain and update ADP Workforce (ATS) with candidate information and hiring statuses. 
  • Job Posting & Sourcing Support: Post job openings via the ATS and source candidates through job boards, social media, and networking. Manage and update MG+M’s LinkedIn page to reflect open roles, company news, and branding initiatives. 
  • Background Checks & Pre-employment Screening: Facilitate background checks, reference checks, and other pre-employment screenings as required.
  • Onboarding Assistance: Support the new hire onboarding process by coordinating documentation, orientation sessions, and first-day logistics.
  • Administrative Support: Handle recruitment-related correspondence, prepare offer letters, and manage confidential candidate information.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Relations/Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • 1–3 years of experience in recruitment coordination, HR support, or a similar role. 
  • Prior experience in a law firm or professional services organization is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with ATS software (ADP Workforce preferred), Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), and video conferencing tools (Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to collaborate with hiring managers, dedicated leadership and candidates to ensure an efficient hiring process
