PRIMARY JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Active license to practice law in the United States.
- 2-5 years of relevant privacy, compliance, healthcare experience, preferably relevant in house or law firm experience.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with both technical and non-technical partners, with focus on informing, influencing, and relationship building.
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES
- Reporting to the Chief Privacy Officer and working in coordination with other members of Legal, Compliance, Security, Internal Audit and other relevant business units to assist with the privacy and data management programs, further develop strategies and policies, and drive transformative projects to completion.
- Assist with maturation of CCC’s privacy framework and compliance control systems to enhance compliant and ethical use of personal data.
- Assist with privacy, data, and regulatory compliance reviews for relevant products and business units.
- Assist in monitoring and testing internal policies for effectiveness and reviewing said policies for possible risks/liabilities. Develop improvements for these policies.
- Assist with reporting of risks, activity and any related infractions.
- Assist in fostering a “culture of compliance” across all business units.
- Maintain visibility into emerging regulatory issues, including US laws and regulations that may impact CCC.
- Work closely with teams across CCC to conduct investigations and respond to issues as they arise.
- Assist in driving projects to successful completion and in setting clear objectives for the business.
- Serve as the point of contact for teams across CCC regarding privacy and data requests.
