Part Time Real Estate Attorney - Hybrid

Our client, Westfall Law, is seeking a  Part-Time Real Estate Attorney to join their team. In this role, you’ll provide expert legal counsel on real estate transactions, contracts, compliance, and property disputes.  This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced attorney seeking meaningful, high-impact work on a part-time flexible schedule,  all while enjoying the support of a talented team dynamic.  This role offers a flexible hybrid arrangement, allowing you to work both remotely and onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, draft, and revise real estate contracts, leases, purchase agreements and conveyance documents
• Provide drafts of loan closing packages and negotiating thereof
• Assist with foreclosure and collection of real estate loans
• Review and advise on title issues, title insurance and preparing title clearance documentation
• Assist with entity documentation and the formation, operation and dispute resolution related to same
• Provide legal support on landlord-tenant matters, property disputes
• Stay updated on federal, state, and local real estate laws and regulations
• Collaborate with internal teams, lenders, real estate agents and external Stakeholders

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in Georgia
• 3+ years of experience in real estate law (transactional or litigation)
• Strong knowledge of real estate contracts, closings, title, and leasing
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities

Work hours and Compensation:

• Part-time, flexible hours (estimated 15-20 hours per week; may vary based on workload)
• Work will be hybrid with some in the office and some can be done remotely
• Compensation $65-75 per hour, based on experience
