Position Overview:

Support healthcare attorneys and executives with regulatory research, dispute resolution, and compliance documentation, ensuring adherence to CMS, OIG, and managed care requirements while facilitating payer appeals and investigations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with legal research on healthcare regulations and payer rules
  • Draft documents for appeals, disputes, and regulatory responses
  • Prepare case files and maintain documentation

Physical Examination Responsibilities:

  • None or minimal; primarily office-based

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Job qualifications & certifications:
    • Paralegal certificate required
    • 2+ years of healthcare regulatory experience
    • Must have claims experience
    • Familiarity with CMS, OIG, and managed care rules
    • Must have healthcare-related legal experience.
  • Skills:
    • Strong legal writing and research skills
    • Ability to handle confidential information
    • Excellent organizational abilities
