
Job Title: Marketing Specialist
Location: Onsite (San Diego, CA 92130), potential hybrid flexibility after training period
About the Role:
We are seeking a resourceful and professional Marketing Specialist to support a wide range of marketing functions at our busy law firm. This role involves creating content for digital and print materials, managing event planning and communications, and supporting attorney presentations and outreach efforts. The ideal candidate will bring strong communication and organizational skills to help drive the firm's marketing initiatives forward.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce quality PR content for website, social media, and general marketing flyers.
- Produce/create quality collateral and manage content for newsletters.
- Maintain database for contact lists for newsletter, Symposium, Holiday Gift/Cards.
- Ability to create internal bios, advertising and general event flyers.
- Take initiative and think of new and exciting marketing & graphic design concepts.
- Maintain marketing collateral and promotional items.
- Create shells and edit content for attorney PowerPoint presentations.
- Coordinate travel needs and providing itineraries to team members.
- Coordinate event planning.
- Recommend sites for future events, such as our retreat, holiday parties or firm happy hours.
- Participate in diversity committee event planning events.
- Coordinating memberships and dues for the firm.
Qualifications:
- 4-Year college degree preferred.
- Excellent client service attitude.
- Great organizational skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Basic knowledge in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Adobe, Photoshop), Canva, and CMS (Content Management System) web design and management of WordPress/Website.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality required.
- Friendly, outgoing and enthusiastic personality.
- Good oral and written communication skills required.
- Results driven with a high sense of urgency.
- Ability to work well independently and on a team.
- Strong integrity and ability to exercise good judgement.
- Understanding of SEO, AdWords and Google Analytics.
- Consistent and punctual attendance.
- Knowledgeable about our firm culture and operations.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Compensation: $26-35/Hour, commensurate with experience.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to use computer keyboard for extended periods. Normal, corrective vision range; ability to see color and to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols. Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, bend and reach. Ability to reach with hands and arms. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
Work Conditions:
General office environment. The noise level is usually moderately quiet. The work environment is primarily indoors.
