The expected salary range salary for this position is $91,909 - $96,250, based on your experience and education. Location

This position reports on site at the Republic Plaza building located at 370 17th St, Denver, CO 80202, Monday through Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM.

 

What You'll Do

As the Deputy District Attorney duties will include:

  • Managing a specialty docket and meeting with survivors and family members
  • Appearing in court on assigned docket days
  • Partnering with community agencies, the Denver Police Department, and other criminal justice agencies to successfully serve survivors and build criminal cases
  • Assisting victims of crime and their families through the criminal justice system
  • Performing other duties as assigned or requested by the District Attorney

Required Minimum Qualifications

  • Education requirement: Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree
  • Experience Requirement: Three (3) years of experience as an attorney of law with some experience in Domestic Violence or Crimes Against Children
  • Education/Experience Equivalency: No substitution of experience for education is permitted.
  • License/Certifications: Possession of a license to practice law in Colorado from the Colorado Supreme Court at the time of application
