What does our Events and Outreach Coordinator do?
The Events and Outreach Coordinator plays a crucial role in helping maintain and seek out meaningful partnerships, engagements, and activations for The Harris Law Firm. Through attending and participating in relevant marketing events, seeking out new partnerships and sponsorships, and fostering sustainable and meaningful connections, the Events and Outreach Coordinator works with the Marketing team to increase and maintain the Firm’s presence in the community.
· Events Management:
o Plan and Develop events and activations for and within the Firm. This can include but is not limited to staff parties, client appreciation and marketing events.
o Develop and cultivate relationships with community members in relevant fields (tax professionals, law firms, marriage counselors etc.) under direction of department leads.
o Assist in expanding the Firm’s local presence through tabling at relevant events.
o Organize activities for staff members to support the firm’s expansion and presence in the state of Colorado.
· Outreach & Marketing:
o Register for and coordinate the firm’s participation in 1-2 community events per month, promoting child and family advocacy efforts and/or our tax and estate planning departments
o Register for and coordinate the firm’s participation in 1-2 community events per month, promoting advocacy efforts and/or our tax and estate planning departments
o Work with the Marketing team to develop programming and manage projects.
o Work with the marketing team to identify organizations/ events that have a strong social media presence and advertising strategies.
o Additional marketing activities as time allows
o Other tasks as assigned
What you bring to the team!
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job experience
· Three to five years of experience in advocacy or outreach roles
· A minimum of two years in customer/client facing roles
· A strong grasp of corporate event planning and 2-3 years of experience in successfully planning and executing events
Knowledge/Skills:
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
· Strong relationship building skills
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new programs
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
· Ability to work independently
· Strict attention to detail
· Occasional evening or weekend availability for events.
· Energetic and enthusiastic with a willingness to learn and take direction
· Collaborative and team-oriented, with a desire to support broader firm goals
