Paralegal - Mergers and Acquisitions - Part-Time, Remote

We are seeking a knowledgeable and organized Part-Time Remote Mergers and Acquisitions Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. This position offers a flexible work schedule and the opportunity to work from home anywhere in the U.S.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist attorneys in all phases of mergers and acquisitions transactions, including due diligence, contract negotiation, and closing procedures;
• Prepare and review legal documents such as purchase agreements, disclosure schedules, and corporate resolutions;
• Conduct thorough research on relevant laws and regulations applicable to M&A transactions;
• Organize and manage due diligence materials, track compliance, and monitor deadlines;
• Coordinate communication between clients, attorneys, and third parties throughout the transaction process;
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documents.

Hard Skills:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal, specifically in mergers and acquisitions;
• Proficient in preparing and reviewing transaction documents and conducting due diligence;
• Strong understanding of corporate law and M&A processes;
• Knowledge of document management systems and legal research tools.

Technology Requirements:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with a minimum of 6 years of experience;
• Familiarity with mergers and acquisitions software and databases (e.g., DealCloud, HighQ, or similar tools) is preferred;
• Experience with document management software is a plus.
