
Job Description:
The IGS legal intern will work directly within the IGS in-house legal team, which consists of attorneys and paralegals, on a wide range of duties that directly impact our business. The primary role is to engage with members of the team to support day-to-day operations, aid in long term projects, research, and bring new perspective and insight to a growing business.
We are looking for someone passionate about learning and engaging in the legal field. It will be a unique position that provides valuable exposure to the inner workings of a dynamic corporate legal department. This position requires a strong work ethic, effective written and verbal communication skills, an independent spirit, and a drive to succeed.
Primary Responsibilities:
Performing basic legal research/ analysis
Drafting documents
Filing and organizing documents
Editing and fact-checking
Completing general administrative tasks
Supporting the IGS in-house legal team
Requirements/Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a law degree from an accredited law school (Note: 1L or 2L preferred).
Effective communication and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases.
Strong reading, writing, and grammatical skills to produce clear and concise legal documents/ analysis.
The ability to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative team environment.
Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis. Unfortunately, a current or future need for sponsorship is not supported or available for this position.
Salary Range:
$31,200.00 - $52,000.00*This range reflects base pay only. Incentive earnings, like commissions or bonuses, are not included.
