The Client:

A nationally recognized law firm with over 1,000 attorneys across the U.S., known for combining the power of a major legal network with the accessibility and warmth of a boutique environment. This firm is growing strategically, and this role is being created in response to increasing client demand in the high-net-worth estate planning space.

Description:

The associate will join a well-established and collaborative Taxation & Wealth Planning Department, supporting clients with a range of estate and trust planning needs. The daily work involves drafting and implementing sophisticated estate plans, providing tax advice for trusts and estates, and preparing estate and gift tax returns. The associate will also contribute to planning strategies for closely held businesses and high-net-worth individuals. This role presents a clear path for professional development, mentorship, and eventual client ownership within a supportive, collegial setting.

Qualifications:

• JD from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice in Pennsylvania
• 2–5 years' experience in trust and estate planning and administration
• Familiarity with estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax issues
• Proficiency in preparing estate planning documents and reviewing federal estate tax returns
• Knowledge of planning for family-owned businesses and life insurance trusts
• Strong research and legal writing skills required
• Demonstrated academic excellence and attention to detail
• LLM in Taxation is a plus but not required
