Job Description
About the Position: This position is located at US Army Installation Management Command, Fort Sill, OK. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. If you are currently serving in a permanent, competitive service appointment in the Federal service, and are selected for this position, the appointment will remove you from the competitive service while you occupy this position.
Duties- Advise command on all actions involving environmental law, real property, and cultural and Native American issues.
- Serve as legal advisor and consultant in all administrative law and legal matters not within the province of more clearly defined fields of law.
- Serve as legal advisor to the command concerning application and interpretation of the Freedom of Information Act and the Privacy Act primarily by determining appropriate release or retention of information.
- Act as labor counselor by providing legal advice as to the sufficiency of administration, management and disciplining of civilian personnel.
- Serve as a Contract Law Attorney advising on government contracts, procurement policies, and related issues and practices impacting Army organizations and activities.
