About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the U.S. ARMY INTELLIGENCE & SECURITY CMD U.S. ARMY COUNTERINTELLIGENCE COMMAND HQ, FT. MEADE, MD.
Duties- Providing legal advice concerning USACIC CI operations and activities, including those activities conducted in or through the use of cyber mediums.
- Evaluating newly enacted statutes, proposed federal legislation, federal and Department of Defense regulations and policies impacting counterintelligence (CI) and cyber authorities, activities and operations.
- Serving as an administrative law attorney providing legal advice to the senior leadership, Staff, and subordinate units on administrative investigations involving intelligence and counterintelligence (CI), activities and operations.
- Advising the agency and subordinate commanders in all matters and inquiries from all regulating and oversight bodies to include the Army Staff, Congressional and Executive Intelligence Oversight Committees.
- Providing fiscal law advice and writes opinions on the expenditure of intelligence funds to support on-going intelligence operations and activities.
