JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective
Assist the legal department in its operations.
Essential Functions
1. Drafts and prepares correspondence and various written documents under the direction of an attorney.
2. Establishes and maintains records.
3. Sorts incoming mail and email.
4. Making and sending copies of documents via mail and email.
5. Tracks outbound documents/correspondence.
6. Tracks upcoming lease renewals and the status of various legal documents.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands
Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Days and hours may vary depending on workload.
