Staff Attorney Opening - Health and Income Maintenance (HIM) Unit Location: Miami, FL, 33134

We are currently seeking a Staff Attorney to join our Health and Income Maintenance (HIM) Unit in Miami, FL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health law and income maintenance programs, with a focus on advocating for low-income individuals and families.

• Provide legal representation and advocacy for clients in health and income maintenance cases
• Conduct legal research and analysis on relevant laws and regulations
• Prepare legal documents, including briefs, motions, and pleadings
• Participate in hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings
• Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure effective representation of clients
• Stay current on developments in health and income maintenance law

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the Florida State Bar
• 2+ years of experience practicing law, with a focus on health and income maintenance law preferred
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and advocacy skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
