This role will have the opportunity to work across all of the Radiance Holdings subsidiaries.
We are seeking a Paralegal to join our in-house legal team to provide efficient and timely legal services for our companies. The Paralegal is responsible for coordinating and preparing, under supervision of the General Counsel, legal documents related to franchising and other company business, including providing disclosure documents to prospective franchisees, processing franchise agreements and related legal agreements, maintaining legal files, managing critical dates and tracking key information and other activities. Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
This role will work directly with the executive team and staff, franchisees and key vendors to ensure delivery of timely and effective legal services.
Job Responsibilities
- Reviews and drafts form legal documents, agreements, and correspondence and ensures proper delivery and filing.
- Facilitates franchise and related agreement signings and onboarding in accordance with internal processes.
- Maintains all legal documents, electronic files and databases, to ensure current and accurate information is available to executives and staff as needed.
- Serves as a point of contact for inquiries related to agreements and other legal department procedures and policies.
- Performs general administrative functions, including calendaring and mailings and other required tasks to support the legal department.
- Manages data and key metrics by accurately inputting and updating information in Excel and electronic databasesfor tracking and reporting.
- Manages vendor and customer relationship for special project purposes and required tasks.
- Prepares reports related to data to support decision-making processes and provides insight on key metrics.
- Assists in refining and improving processes and documents to support the needs of the legal department.
- Supports special projects and any other duties that may be assigned.
Required Experience, Skills and Abilities
- Exceptional organizational skills and high level of attention-to-detail.
- Five to ten years of legal experience (franchising experience a plus).
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities and deadlines.
- Knowledge of and skilled in using software including Microsoft Office suite and Adobe.
- Working experience with Microsoft Excel is required.
- Notary or ability to obtain notary.
- Experience with electronic signatures (e.g., DocuSign).
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both in writing and orally.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines through to timely completion.
- Perform related and other duties as assigned.
- Ability to work in an office setting.
- Ability to sit for long periods of time.
- Ability to travel domestically.

- Paralegal Certificate
Compensation: The salary range for this role is set to $80,000-$90,000 annually, commensurate on experience. This role is eligible for a discretionary bonus issued at an annual frequency. All bonuses are subject to board approval.
