Job Description

Litigation Paralegal

Location: Minneapolis, MN (In-Person or Hybrid) | Remote (United States)
Pay: $32–$35 per hour (In-person, Depending on Experience)

About the Role

Litigation Paralegal: Drive Justice with Precision and Impact

This isn’t just a paralegal job—it’s your chance to be the backbone of high-stakes employment cases, pushing them toward faster, stronger resolutions. As a Litigation Paralegal, your mission is to drive case momentum through flawless document preparation, strategic case development, and proactive problem-solving. You’ll work with award-winning attorneys to secure millions in recoveries for clients facing workplace injustices. We’ll provide training on employment law to ensure you’re equipped to excel.

Here’s the reality:

  • You’ll juggle tight deadlines and complex cases in a fast-paced environment. If you shy away from pressure, this role isn’t for you.
  • You’ll engage with clients navigating emotional challenges, requiring empathy and resilience to keep them confident.

Now for the rewarding part:

  • Impactful Work: Your precision strengthens cases, leading to life-changing settlements—think millions recovered for clients.
  • Collaborative Culture: Join a team rooted in teamwork, radical candor, and relentless excellence. We work hard, celebrate wins, and grow together.
  • Professional Growth: Access cutting-edge tools (HubSpot, SharePoint) and mentorship from top attorneys in a firm that’s expanding fast.
  • Competitive Pay: $32.00–$35.00 per hour, based on experience, with bonuses tied to firm success.
  • Flexible Work: Choose remote, hybrid, or in-person at our Minneapolis office (100 S 5th St), with perks like a wellness room and fitness center.

What You’ll Do

  • Own Case Execution: Draft complaints, motions, discovery requests, and mediation statements with precision, enabling attorneys to focus on strategy.
  • Build Case Foundations: Create fact chronologies, deposition summaries, and witness profiles that form the strategic backbone of each case.
  • Conduct Targeted Research: Use Westlaw or Lexis to resolve procedural issues, delivering clear, actionable summaries to attorneys.
  • Engage Clients Thoughtfully: Lead fact-gathering calls with empathy, ensuring clients feel heard while maintaining professional boundaries.
  • Drive Momentum: Proactively spot delays or gaps in cases and escalate solutions to keep cases on track for swift resolution.
  • Leverage Systems: Use HubSpot, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365 to track progress, maintain flawless records, and streamline workflows.

What You Won’t Do

  • Perform routine admin tasks like filing or scheduling (handled by case managers).
  • Provide legal advice or case valuations to clients.
  • Wait for direction to identify and fix case bottlenecks.

Why This Role Matters

  • Efficiency: Your flawless work saves attorneys 10+ hours weekly, redirecting focus to high-value strategy and negotiations.
  • Velocity: Your proactive approach cuts revision cycles, accelerating case resolution by weeks and boosting client satisfaction.
  • Impact: Your case development strengthens legal arguments, increasing settlement values by up to 20% through better-prepared cases.

Qualifications

Who Are You?

  • You have 2+ years of paralegal experience, ideally in litigation (plaintiff-side employment law is a plus, but we’ll train you on employment law specifics).
  • Paralegal certificate or associate’s degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • You’re a detail-oriented master of legal drafting, with zero tolerance for errors.
  • Proactive problem-solver who anticipates issues and acts without being told.
  • Strong communicator with empathy for clients and clarity for the team.
  • Tech-savvy with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and case management systems; HubSpot experience is a bonus.

What We Offer

Join a firm built on innovation, teamwork, and a relentless drive for results. Our environment fosters creativity, professional growth, and measurable impact through meaningful legal work. We’re not just growing—we’re evolving together, with opportunities to advance as we expand.

  • Work Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00–5:30, with occasional flexibility for case demands.
  • Location: Remote, hybrid, or in-person at our Minneapolis office (100 S 5th St, Minneapolis, MN).
  • Compensation: $32.00–$35.00 per hour, based on experience, plus performance-based bonuses.
  • Work Culture: We’re growth-oriented and team-driven, with regular team-building events and a workspace designed for collaboration and fun.
  • Career Opportunities: As a growing firm, we create new roles regularly, supporting your ambition to learn and lead.
  • Generous Benefits: 80% coverage of single plan medical/dental/vision premiums, firm-paid Long-Term Supplemental Disability, Life Insurance, 401(k) with 3% firm contribution, commuter benefits, and abundant paid time off.
