Do you love digging into research and helping people? We are looking for an experienced paralegal to help our attorneys assist clients and ensure we're operating efficiently. You will assist with the preparation of legal documents, handle office correspondence with both staff and clients, attend client appointments and conduct research for needed resources for the planning process.
Responsibilities
- Work with clients and attorneys to complete the planning process to provide a positive and successful experience
- Attend appointments independently or with attorneys and interact with clients to gather information, provide updates, and complete paperwork
- Serve as the main contact for clients and estate beneficiaries providing information and progress updates regularly to ensure client satisfaction
- Assist estate administration team as needed
- Clearly communicate with clients and team members on a consistent basis
- Organize our case filing systems to ensure all documents are properly sorted and easy to locate, and other administrative duties as needed
- 3-5 years' experience as legal assistant or paralegal in estate planning or related field.
- Must be able to prioritize tasks with demanding deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to handle high-volume workloads
- Excellent math aptitude and strong Word and Excel skills
- Professional written, telephone, and interpersonal skills
- Maintain punctuality with all tasks and responsibilities
