The expected salary range salary for these position vary from, $84,604.00 - 224,009.00, based on your experience and education. This position reports on site at the Republic Plaza building located at 370 17th St, Denver, CO 80202, Monday through Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM.
What You'll Do
The Denver District Attorney’s Office is hiring for three different at-will positions. Please apply to this job posting for the positions listed below:
- Senior Deputy District Attorney - $131,770.00 - 224,009.00, based on your experience and education. Must have at least 10 years’ relevant experience.
- Associate Deputy District Attorney - $106,577 - $175,852 based on your experience and education. Must have at least 5 years’ relevant experience.
- Deputy District Attorney - $84,604.00 - $139,597.00 based on your experience and education
The Deputy District Attorney duties will include:
- Appearing in court on assigned docket days
- Partnering with community agencies, the Denver Police Department, and other criminal justice agencies to successfully serve survivors and build criminal cases
- Assisting victims of crime and their families through the criminal justice system
- Performing other duties as assigned or requested by the District Attorney
Required Minimum Qualifications

- Education requirement: Doctor of Jurisprudence degree or Bachelor of Laws degree.
- Experience Requirement: Three (3) years of experience as an attorney at law.
- Education/Experience Equivalency: No substitution of experience for education is permitted.
- License/Certifications: Possession of a license to practice law in Colorado from the Colorado Supreme Court by the date of hire or a reasonable expectation of becoming licensed by the Colorado Supreme Court by the date of hire in accordance with C.R.C.P. 203.2, 203.3, 203.4 and 205.6. Licenses and certifications must be kept current as a condition of employment.
