
Job Title: Legal Assistant
Location: Onsite – Community Hospital, Grand Junction, CO
Hiring Range: $30.00 – $34.50 per hour

Reports to: Chief Compliance Officer / Chief Financial Officer
Position Summary:
Community Hospital is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support our Chief Compliance Officer and Chief Financial Officer. This onsite role is essential to the effective operation of our Legal and Compliance functions and requires a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, proofread, and format legal documents, including legal agreements, employment agreements, and contract addendums for review.
- Provide legal administrative support, including preparing, proofreading, and formatting contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.

Assist in managing and tracking contract workflows and timelines.

Coordinate calendars, schedule meetings, and maintain agendas for the CCO and CFO.

Prepare reports, correspondence, and meeting materials as needed.

Maintain organized and confidential filing systems.

Serve as a liaison between internal departments and external partners or vendors related to legal and compliance matters.

Support internal audits and assist with compliance documentation and data collection.

Handle other administrative tasks and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree or paralegal certification preferred.

Minimum of 3 years of administrative or legal assistant experience; healthcare or compliance-related experience is a plus.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion with sensitive information.
Schedule & Work Environment:

This is a full-time, onsite position. Remote work is not available for this role.
Compensation:

Hiring Range: $30.00 to $34.50 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
