As a Commercial Real Estate Finance Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in advising clients across a wide spectrum of commercial real estate finance transactions, managing both national and international portfolios. This role involves providing expert counsel on intricate financing structures, including loan originations, securitizations, and loan servicing.
Responsibilities:
- Transaction Advisory: Guide clients through complex commercial real estate finance transactions, ensuring strategic alignment with their investment goals.
- Document Negotiation & Drafting: Take the lead in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating critical loan documents such as intercreditor agreements, mortgage documents, and other essential legal documentation.
- Structuring & Due Diligence: Manage all aspects of transaction structuring, due diligence, and closing processes, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure thoroughness and accuracy.
- Industry Expertise: Stay informed on the latest trends in commercial real estate finance, enabling proactive support and strategic counsel for client objectives.
Requirements
Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
Licensing: Active Bar Admission in Pennsylvania.
Experience: 3-6 years of substantive experience in commercial real estate finance.
Technical Skills: Demonstrated experience in commercial real estate and mezzanine loans, including familiarity with loan structuring and documentation.
Transactional Skills: Proven track record of active participation on deal teams, with experience leading due diligence, managing complex transaction processes, and closing deals effectively.
Preferred Background: Previous experience working in a large law firm environment is highly advantageous.
