The Billing Data Coordinator is responsible for setting up and updating timekeepers, clients, matters, and other master files in the 3E financial system, as well as running quality control checks on this data.
Responsibilities
• Set up new timekeepers, clients and matters in financial system
• Send periodic reporting on timekeeper, client and matter data to partners and other employees
• Maintain and understand the implications of historical data within the system
• Maintain leave of absence tracking for employees
• Make changes to timekeeper, client, and matter profiles as needed
• Adjust system demographic data for timekeepers, clients and matters
• Communicate across various levels and functions of the Firm to coordinate and ensure accurate information
• Coordinate timekeeper changes with Workday team and run checks to ensure data consistency
• Respond to various related inquiries and assist billers and other personnel with system data related issues
• Make suggestions to management team on process improvements and assist with implementation of same
• Assist management and reporting team on special projects and reporting as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned
Education
Required
• Bachelor’s degree required
Preferred
• Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
Skills & Experience
Required
• Ability to effectively present information verbally and in writing
• Basic math skills: add, subtract, multiply, and divide
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel; proficiency in MS Word
• Acute attention to detail
• Ability to manage a high volume of requests and prioritize appropriately
Preferred
• Some legal billing experience preferred
• Experience with 3E or other legal billing system preferred
Salary Information
NY Only: The estimated base salary range for this position is $70,000 to $85,000 at the time of posting.
The actual salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. This role is non-exempt meaning it is overtime pay eligible.
