Veterans United is seeking a Staff Attorney to provide legal counsel to assigned business units and support legal related projects. This position will review legal opinions, issues, and support the department with legal-related projects.
Job duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Support General Counsel and Senior Management with legal-related projects.
- Provide legal counsel to assigned business units.
- Provide legal guidance and support to affiliate companies as necessary.
- Review legal opinions, legal structure, and other applicable legal issues.
- Perform reviews of online content and other marketing initiatives for compliance with applicable regulations and requirements.
- Review and provide guidance to business units on contracts and agreements.
- Manage and coordinate with various departments and individuals regarding the completion of assigned legal projects.

- Minimum of 5 years of legal experience combining corporate legal and private law settings; experience with matters pertaining to Financial Services or general marketing issues preferred.
- Must be licensed and in good standing with the Missouri Bar.
- Knowledgeable in various areas pertaining to corporate law.
- Proficient in basic computer technologies, appropriate for an internet-based company.
