Job Description:
The Legal Support Assistant provides administrative support to the assigned attorneys, paralegals, and secretaries within the Litigation Practice Group. This position functions as a liaison between attorneys and clients to provide services at a cost savings to the client. The Legal Support Assistant works under direct supervision and relies on instruction and pre-existing guidelines to perform the essential functions of the job.As a Legal Support Assistant you will:
Coordinate meeting logistics including scheduling attendees, videoconferences, and conference rooms requesting equipment, preparing presentation materials, arranging refreshments, and welcoming visitors
Coordinate travel arrangements including hotel, flight, and transportation services
Create Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations including graphics and transitions
Input, review, edit, and update attorney time entries in Intapp
Edit, proofread, and redline documents and correspondence for accuracy, grammar, and formatting
Prepare documents and emails for attorney review, including letters, forms, charts, spreadsheets, and presentations
Proofread documents and emails for accuracy
Create, organize, and maintain electronic files via the Firm’s cloud systems and in accordance with Firm records retention policies
Job Specifications:
Bachelor’s degree
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and judgment skills
Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities
Ability to handle and maintain confidential information
Ability to learn new concepts and skills quickly

Target Hiring Range $55,000 - $68,000
Please note that quoted salary ranges are not guarantees of what final salary offers may be. Base pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. Base pay is only one part of the Total Rewards that MWE provides to compensate and recognize our staff professionals for their work. Full time positions are eligible for a discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
