Job Description Summary:
This Senior Director position is part of the Global & U.S. Customer Legal Team, which reports up through the North America Legal Team. The person selected will work in a networked fashion with legal colleagues and business clients to draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements with the Company’s restaurant and retail customers and provide counseling on a wide variety of contract, commercial and marketing matters, to advance the Company’s growth agenda and protect our interests and assets. Further, the Senior Legal Counsel will provide guidance and direction regarding the Company’s compliance programs and policies, including the Code of Business Conduct, competition law policies and regulatory compliance.
Reports to the Vice President, Senior Counsel – Global & U.S. Customer.
What You’ll Do for Us
- Draft and negotiate complex customer agreements with the Company’s Foodservice/On-Premise and Retail customers.
- Provide creative and strategic legal advice and support for varied areas of law – corporate/commercial, procurement, marketing, antitrust, litigation assessment and support.
- Identify potential legal risks and issues, clearly communicate risk assessments to business clients and provide thoughtful solutions to mitigate risks.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues on the Global & U.S. Customer Legal Team, as well as throughout the entire Legal Function, to provide effective legal guidance to the business and ensure compliance with all applicable legal requirements.
- Communicate with leadership on matters of significant importance to the organization.
- Develop and implement new processes to enhance efficiency of customer contracting and the provision of legal support.
- Indirectly manage and review the work of other legal professionals.
- Training and education of business associates.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Accredited US Law degree or equivalent
- Qualified to practice law in Georgia or other appropriate US jurisdiction
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in the practice of law, preferably in complex commercial transactions
- Experience from excellent law firm and/or large in-house department
- Must be able to lead and collaborate with diverse, high performing teams and manage complex projects
- Must be available to travel within the United States, and internationally from time to time; approximately 10-15% of the time
- English language required

Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Hybrid work schedule - 3 days per week in person and 2 days virtual
Individual contributor role - no direct reports
