Stein Sperling is seeking an organized Paralegal/Accountant to join our Tax and Litigation Support Department. The ideal candidate will assist with financial forensics, tracing analyses, preparing historical and common-size financial statements, calculating actual and after-tax income, and case management related to tax and litigation support matters. This role requires strong financial acumen, knowledge of accounting, and tax laws.
Qualifications:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies, legal studies, accounting or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a legal, accounting, or tax-related environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis) and Accounting Software tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero)
- Experience working in a law firm, accounting firm, or IRS is preferred
- Experience with accounting and tax software programs is preferred
This is an Hourly Non-Exempt Position with an Annual Salary Range of $65k-$80k
