Job Description

The Supply Chain Legal team at Inspire Brands is a business-aligned, operations-focused partner supporting procurement, supplier management, and strategic supply chain initiatives. Our work spans contract development and negotiation, operational risk management, knowledge infrastructure, and cross-functional advisory support. This internship offers a hands-on, immersive experience in a fast-paced environment where legal rigor meets practical execution. The intern will contribute directly to process-driven legal workflows, support the development and refinement of contracting infrastructure, and collaborate with business partners across Supply Chain, Quality, and Procurement.

The role is designed to provide meaningful exposure to commercial agreements, supplier negotiations, compliance considerations, and the technologies that enable our work. Interns will gain visibility into how Supply Chain Legal strengthens supplier relationships, drives clarity and accountability, and helps the organization operate with confidence and efficiency.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct research to support strategic Supply Chain initiatives, including sustainability, supplier compliance, and operational risk topics

  • Help build and maintain a clause bank in Ironclad; tag clauses across templates and executed agreements to improve future searchability and efficiency

  • Support internal documentation efforts, including contract process maps, training materials, and updates to legal guidance for cross-functional partners

  • Participate in meetings to observe how Legal advises on supplier communications, risk balancing, and strategic decision-making

  • Practice communicating legal concepts in a clear, business-friendly manner to non-lawyer partners across Supply Chain

  • Lead a discrete project that adds measurable value, identified through conversations with cross-functional partners about pain points or process

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum: Completion of some college coursework and ongoing enrollment

  • Preferred: 1L or 2L law student with prior exposure to commercial contracts, compliance topics, or operational legal work

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, OR ABILITIES

  • Strong analytical and research skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and balance competing priorities

  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

  • Comfort working in process-driven or document-heavy workflows

  • Proactive mindset and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
