We are seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Attorney to join our growing team and help lead the expansion of our commercial real estate practice. The ideal candidate will bring substantial knowledge in commercial real estate transactions, commercial leasing, and real estate finance, while reflecting HI’s commitment to excellence, teamwork, and client service.


Qualifications

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating purchasing contracts, leases, financing documents, and other corporate or real estate-related agreements
  • Reviewing title examinations, title commitments and policies, and surveys
  • Drafting and responding to title objection letters
  • Coordinating and conducting closings and managing post-closing documentation
  • Strong familiarity with land use, zoning, and environmental concerns

Requirements
  • Juris Doctor from accredited law school
  • Active South Carolina Bar license in good standing
  • 4-8 years of experience representing clients or developers in commercial real estate transactions

Location

Full-time position available at one of the following South Carolina offices or remote within the state:

  • Greenville
  • Spartanburg
  • Anderson
  • Summerville

 Additional Information

  • Ability to be based in one office and service multiple others
  • Competitive salary and benefits package commensurate with experience
  • The position may require occasional lifting and carrying of documents, legal materials, and office equipment.
