Falcon Rappaport & Berkman is seeking a Senior Estate Planning Attorney.
Falcon Rappaport & Berkman is a rapidly growing law firm, focusing on the areas of Real Estate, Estate Planning and Administration, Taxation, and Corporate matters. As our business expands, so does our need for assistance to our partners in managing these transactions.
Requirements: 7 years’ experience minimum
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
• Handling all stages of estate planning and trust administration
• Client intake and management
• Drafting, reviewing and modifying estate planning documents (including trusts, wills, powers of attorney, advanced directives and funding documents)
• Advising on various wealth transfer and asset protection strategies for high-net-worth clients
• Implementing strategies for reducing estate, income and risk mitigation strategies
• Familiarity with Proposition 13 and related statutes concerning real property transfers
• Preparing and reviewing technical memoranda for clients involving estate tax issues
• Competently handling complex estate planning matters in consultation with the estate planning team
• Researching various client issues, analyzing options and proposing best course of action
• Reviewing and monitoring work of paralegals and legal assistants. Experience with court appearances a plus
• Corporate experience a plus
• Evaluation of fraudulent transfer and voidable transactions associated with the planning services we provide
Proficiency in Microsoft Office required. Foreign language skills a plus.
