JOB SUMMARY:
The Case Coordinator is responsible for providing comprehensive support to Case Managers. This position supports day-to-day operations by performing administrative tasks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Schedule and coordinate physician and consultation appointments
- Support with assembling records (medical, legal, employment, and other) received from clients into LCP case files according to category.
- Assist with record requests together with Case Managers.
- Provide completed questionnaires to Experts, medical providers, or other team members for each case.
- Ensure incoming calls are answered in a timely and professional manner and directed to the appropriate staff.
- Support report formatting/footnoting as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Demonstrates a high level of professionalism in all forms of communication and conduct.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Proven organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Outstanding time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe software, with strong technological aptitude and the ability to quickly adapt to new tools and systems.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Prior medical records and medical office experience interacting with medical staff and physicians preferred.
LOCATION:
- When working in-office reporting location is 313 E Charnwood St. Tyler, TX 75701
- This position has the opportunity to be 100% remote supporting east to west coast time zones.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, a negligible amount of force frequently, and/or constantly having to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met. Positions in this department typically require talking, hearing, seeing, grasping, standing, walking and repetitive motions. Relatively free from unpleasant environmental conditions or hazards. Office environment. Little physical effort is required.
- Business hours are 8:00AM-5:00PM CST with a flex hour for lunch.
