We are seeking an outstanding senior product attorney to support our Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning teams. This attorney will be a primary stakeholder to a growing ServiceNow business team, advising senior leadership on a wide variety of product matters and legal risk mitigation strategies, and negotiating technology transaction agreements, including customer agreements, in-bound technology licenses, development agreements and pre-release agreements. The position can be based in one of our ServiceNow offices or a remote U.S. location.
To be successful in this role you have:
- Current member in good standing of a U.S. state bar.
- 8+ years of relevant experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal department of a technology company advising clients in the full range of product development matters.
- 2+ years experience of product or regulatory counseling experience related to AI/ML, privacy, data security, and/or intellectual property law.
- Knowledge of AI/ML technology.
- Significant experience drafting and negotiating technology transactions.
- Comprehensive understanding of the enterprise IT industry, including SaaS and cloud computing areas.
- A very strong orientation as a team-player and a bias for sharing information.
- A self-starter able to prioritize workload to set goals and meet deadlines in a fluctuating and sometimes ambiguous environment.
