Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our Family!

We currently have a Full-Time position available.

Locations: Cedar Park HQ

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Paralegal to join our legal team at our HQ location. As a Paralegal, you will be responsible for providing legal assistance to our attorneys in the Health Care Services industry. Your major end result will be to ensure that our legal department runs smoothly and efficiently. You will be expected to work closely with our attorneys to provide support in legal research, document drafting, and review. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date legal files and records.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Paralegal in a law firm or corporate legal department
  • Strong knowledge of legal research and document drafting
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
  • Familiarity with legal case management software 
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information 
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines 
  • Familiarity with court filing procedures and e-filing systems

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting legal research and analysis 
  • Assisting in drafting and reviewing legal documents
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date legal files and records
  • Contract administration, organization, and archiving documents 
  • Communicating with clients and other parties as needed

Skills:

As a Paralegal, you will be using your strong legal research and document drafting skills on a daily basis. You will also need to have excellent communication and organizational skills to effectively communicate with clients and other parties, as well as maintain accurate legal files and records. Overall, your skills will be crucial in ensuring that our legal department runs smoothly and efficiently.
