A role you will love
The Computershare Corporate Trust (CCT) Legal team is the group of attorneys and paralegals providing primary in-house legal support for the CCT business. We work closely with CCT business personnel, outside counsel providing CCT transactional support, Risk & Compliance, and our colleagues in the Legal Division to provide strategic, efficient and effective legal support for all aspects of the CCT business. The Senior Coordinating Paralegal role provides critical support to the team by driving continuous improvement in legal service delivery processes, coordinating the paralegal workflow across the CCT Legal team, allocating paralegal support to various initiatives, supporting the update and delivery of CCT minimum document standards, and promoting training, efficiency and process improvement in support of the CCT business. The Senior Coordinating Paralegal will provide paralegal support and perform all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures and all state and federal regulations.
· Coordinates workflow across the team, allocating paralegal support to counsel and on matters
· Suggests assignment of new projects and tasks based on capacity, talents and preferences
· Mentor or coach paralegals as they lead and direct the work of other team members
· Coordinate and lead team meetings
· Provides support to paralegals regarding questions and on document review
· Support CCT Legal team interface with CCT business, Computershare legal operations team and other internal constituents
· Focus on continuous improvement to our processes and procedures with the goal of cost-effective legal service delivery to the CCT business.
· Coordinate periodic meetings with counsel to check in on paralegal support needs and ideas or needs for training
· Researches and analyze transaction documents, statutes, regulations, legal articles, judicial decisions, and other legal sources; provides written analysis
· Cross check and validate information and prepare written reports
What will you bring to the role?
· Associate / Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university plus five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Paralegal certification desired

· Compensation. The typical base pay range for this role is $59,000- $88,000. This base pay is a national average and may not be applicable to all locations.
