
Position title: Immigration Legal Services Program Coordinator
Reports to: Supervising Attorney

Salary: $23.09 to $27.28 per hour

Opening Doors began in 1993 as a small refugee resettlement agency, and today serves over 3,000 clients per year across our 5 program areas: Refugee Programs, Survivors of Trafficking Programs, Immigration Legal Services, Health Programs and Economic Prosperity Programs.

Responsibilities: The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include the following:

Support grants management including drafting reports, managing databases, collecting supporting documentation, creating and maintaining program tracking Excel sheets, and corresponding with grantors for any requests.

Support management of Immigration Legal Services contracts including maintaining contact with contract attorneys, invoicing, check requests, and tracking of work product.

Contribute to the development and maintenance of policies and procedures. Support oversight of policies and procedures to ensure compliance.

Ensure proper organization of program records, digital and physical, and maintain internal forms, checklists, and other tools in accordance with ODI and cooperative agreement policies.

Coordinate volunteers within Immigration Legal Services by scheduling, tracking hours, and communicating with staff about available volunteer assistance.

Provide program support where needed such as purchasing, tracking, and budgeting for supply and promotional material orders.

Asist with program monitoring and other audits requiring data reports.

Preferred qualifications: The requirements listed below are not but are desired.

Familiarity with immigration legal services.

Familiarity with grant or data reporting tasks such as report creation and data tracking.

Experience managing processes, process improvement, change management, and developing standards.

Effective communication skills in one or more of the following languages: Farsi/Dari, Pashto, Russian, Spanish, or Ukrainian.
