Construction Litigation Attorney
Location: New York, NY or Uniondale, NY (Hybrid)
Company Overview
A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Construction Litigation Attorney to join its growing practice. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex construction disputes and contract matters while collaborating with a skilled team of litigators in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Handle construction-related litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery demands and responses
- Participate in court appearances, hearings, and case strategy discussions
- Review and draft construction contracts and related agreements
- Conduct legal research and assist with litigation strategy
- Manage case files and litigation deadlines
Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school
- Admission to the New York Bar
- Minimum of 4 years of construction litigation experience
- Experience drafting motions, handling discovery, and attending court appearances
- Experience reviewing and drafting construction contracts
- Trial experience and NYC construction litigation experience preferred
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $150,000 – $195,000 (based on experience)
- Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, life insurance, 401(k), and paid time off
- Hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 remote)
