
Our marketing team is essential in connecting our firm to the community, building brand awareness, and providing valuable information to those in need.
As an Advertising Analyst/Marketing Intern at Garza Law Firm, you’ll work closely with the Firm Owner and Director of Marketing on projects focused on marketing analysis and measuring return on investment (ROI). Your role will include evaluating advertising campaigns, analyzing performance metrics, reporting results, and recommending improvements. You’ll also assist with community engagement through social media and events. The ideal candidate is data-driven, passionate about marketing, and eager to contribute fresh ideas.
Note - this position does not involve practicing law, giving legal advice, or setting case strategies.
Responsibilities
- Reporting/Analysis: Work with management and marketing partners to analyze and report the ROI of advertising campaigns and general expenses and make recommendations for strategy improvements.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Gather data from various marketing channels and campaigns, including social media, email, and digital advertising. Analyze this data to assess campaign performance and ROI.
- Performance Reporting: Create reports summarizing the effectiveness of advertising efforts. This includes tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and providing insights into which strategies are delivering the best results.
- Market Research: Research industry trends, competitor marketing strategies, and client demographics to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Campaign Monitoring: Monitor ongoing advertising campaigns to ensure they are running as planned and make recommendations for adjustments based on performance data.
- Collaboration: Work with the Firm’s Management Team to implement data-driven recommendations and improvements in advertising tactics and strategies
- Social Media Management: Assist in planning, creating, and scheduling engaging content across various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Content Creation: Collaborate on the development of blog posts, newsletters, graphics, and videos that align with our brand and messaging.
Work Experience
Required:
- Proficient with Microsoft 365 Suite applications.
- Strong analysis experience using tools such as Google Analytics, Domo, Excel, etc.
- Familiarity with various software and systems used for graphic design needed for event promotion (e.g. Canva, Photoshop, Adobe, etc.).
- Experience understanding promotional advertisements with various forms of media platforms (social, television, radio, and print).
Preferred:
- Familiarity with the legal or criminal justice fields.

- Must be currently enrolled in college with an Advertising and/or Marketing Major focus.

Preferred:
- Advertising and/or Marketing education with at least 3 years of undergraduate college or enrolled in a Master’s program with a focus on one or more of the following: Science of Marketing, Data Analytics, Marketing Research, and/or Digital Marketing.
