Job Description

Summary of Responsibilities:

We are adding a Manager-Corporate/Commercial Legal Affairs and Associate General Counsel to our team to oversee ATC’s corporate and commercial legal matters, with a focus on legal strategy for contracting with vendors and service providers, and land right acquisition, including condemnation management. The role works closely with other in-house and outside counsel and provides advice and guidance to various business functions of ATC.

Essential Responsibilities:

In this role, you’ll use your law degree and admission to the WI Bar and 10 years’ experience in corporate and commercial legal practice with at least five years’ experience in an in-house legal environment, providing corporate and commercial legal support to the business.

You’ll lead a team of attorneys who provide day-to-day support to ATC’s Supply Chain, Corporate Affairs, and Real Estate functions.  Responsibilities include managing transactional matters involving the acquisition of goods and services, construction-related contracts, long-term operating and maintenance agreements, software licenses, and other commercial contracts.  You will also be responsible for selecting, retaining and managing outside counsel to assist with the Company’s acquisition of land rights for large capital projects.
